Josephine Magliolo is with us this weekend as we complete most Over 12 solo sections and finalise our top 8 (or 9?) for the Eisteddfod Scholarship on the final night.
Problems with Audio/Video Crits We are sorry that some are having problems. Part of it is due to confusion over which email was used to enter and which email people somehow expect their crits to be sent. This is being addressed with a different data base from Stardom, who are trying to be as helpful as possible. Unfortunately, there was also a technical “hitch” on Sunday (?) and some crits have to be re-done. On Stage Media and Chris Politis are working on these. Thanks for your patience. Don’t bother Sheila as she knows nothing about these things. My (Garry’s) response is to contact Alicia from OSM directly on onstagemediaaustralia.com to see when your competitor’s or troupe’s crit might be sent. The OSM contact details were in the program, but we understand why you’d be emailing us as we host the event. Do not email Stardom as they have absolutely nothing to do with it. We are (technically) not in control of the crit management. Again, we apologise.
Thanks so much to those who assisted with packing up last Sunday night, especially Bec, Bella and Ebony Lucas and those troupe parents and students who tidied up their troupe areas. Thanks to the Canteen workers from Inspirations for doing such a mighty job under very busy circumstances. Weekends 2-4 promise to be a bit quieter.
Music Uploads: Note that the capacity to upload music remains open. Thanks to those who did so promptly for the first weekend. Garry will be downloading music for 18/19 October early in the week. Make sure your music is there. We’ve had some “hiccups” that have taken A LOT of time to resolve.
2025 CASEY COMPS RUNNING SHEET (30/08/25 – Includes slight revisions due to feedback from entrants)
- Music Uploads All entrants were sent an email with upload details on Saturday, 30th. August. Contact Garry if, for any reason, you did not receive this. All uploads are to be done through ‘Stardom’ via. your account. DO NOT GO TO ANOTHER COMPANY CALLED ‘MUSIC UPLOADS’. Uploads can commence from Monday, 1st. September and are required from all competitors – Troupes and Solos – by COB (5.00 pm.) Monday, 6th. October. Full instructions for music uploads have been issued, including an information pdf as well as a demo Youtube given below. We are trying to avoid the disruption to continuity that occurs when people expect to be able to use their phones or other devices for competitors’ music. Back-ups should be on USB, not on your phone.

- Please read the “Casey Comps, 2025” Entry Schedule & Information carefully. This is now to be used as a reference for sections/rules as entries have closed.
- A copy of our Rules for 2025 is included in the “Casey Comps, 2025” Entry Schedule and Information document. We’ll assume you’re aware of these so they can be applied during the Eisteddfod.
