Entries opened for all sections on Monday, 2nd. May and will close on Friday, 20th. May, unless all the allocated time is taken sooner. Please read our Entry Schedule and Information document carefully. The link is over on the right. All entries must be made through ‘Stardom’. Payment of all fees is a condition of entry. Entries not accompanied by payment will be deleted.
We start on 8/9 October with a Troupes Weekend This seems to be a popular option, giving dance schools some certainty in their scheduling. Depending upon the number of Troupe entries, we will plan to fill all sessions for Sunday, 9th. October in the first instance, then the evening session on Saturday, 8th., then the Saturday afternoon. We are aware that many dance schools have Saturday mornings as their peak time for lessons and we’ll endeavour to avoid this, if possible. We may have some solos and duos/trios on this weekend to break up the program, but we’ll try to block age groupings for convenience as much as we can for the remaining weekends of 15/16, 22/23 and 29/30 October.
Free entry for audience members!! The registration fee of $10.00 per competitor for soloists and troupe members is being allocated to offset offering free admission to all sessions. Duo/Trio entrants need not pay the registration fee as, in most cases, these competitors have already paid the registration as soloists or troupe members.
‘Stardom’ Music Uploads!! Following the closing of entries and compilation of the Program, competitors will be asked to go into the ‘Stardom’ website using their usual log-in details and upload the music tracks needed for each section in which they will be participating. These audio files will be downloaded by us in sectional groupings to be played at the venue. There will be no additional charge/fee for the uploading of your music files!!
Refunds – as far as we can tell, all refunds from our cancelled 2021 event have now been facilitated. Please contact Garry on firstname.lastname@example.org if you think yours has been missed. It would help us to track your entry down if you can give us your invoice number. It will be DED21****. We have had a couple of entrants asking about refunds before checking their card statements. Refunds were sent back to the card used in making the entry around 6th./7th. October. Please check your statement carefully before suggesting yours was missed.
