We’re still hoping ……

Are we on?   We are still holding on to some hope that we can run our event this year.  We have been discussing safe numbers within the venue with Theatre Management and these discussions are ongoing as the news changes daily.  If a decision is made not to go ahead, the Committee will be working to organise reimbursements/refunds and the logistics of that will be difficult and we’d hope for your patience if that’s what needs to be done.  Watch this space!!!

Running Sheet      Hit the link over on the right.  A pretty full first weekend (9th/10th) with all our Troupes and some Over 12 sections.  The Committee has still been able to “block” age groupings for the convenience of competitors.  Over 12 sections (unless you’re in Championships) are finished by the evening session on 23rd October, then Under 12 sections take up our final two weekends (23rd/24th and 30th/31st).  All Championships are on the final weekend (30th/31st), as is our DFMAY $500.00 Scholarship Section.

Divided Sections  There’s only a couple of them this year.  The list of those in which “half” is on the link over on the right.  Sections of over 30 competitors have been divided based on age and so we cannot swap a competitor from one “half” into the other for your convenience.  Please don’t ask.

The Entry Information document available at the right is now only to be used as a reference document for our rules and the sections which will be making up the program.

Free Entry for Audience in 2021    Registration Fees from competitors will be directly funding free admission to the theatre in all our sessions.

Adjudicators     Brian Nolan will be our adjudicator on Weekends 1 & 3.  Kerri Morrison is our adjudicator for Weekends 2 &4.  Nichole Davis is our special adjudicator for the $500.00 Scholarship on our final night (31st. October).

Program/Section Sponsorship Opportunities!!   We offer the opportunity for individuals or businesses (Dance Schools?) to advertise in our official program.  Preparation of the Program begins now and we are aiming for distribution of pre-paid programs by early August.  Sectional sponsorships begin as low as $27.50 to have your name (or the business name) detailed in the introduction to the section in the Program and to be listed as a supporter on our Website until our 2022 event.  Display ads (you provide the ad, or you and Garry can work something out) are $80.00 for a full page (A5), $40.00 for a half page and $25.00 for something smaller.  Contact Garry Martin directly should you wish to consider being part of our program.
